The American Nurses Association describes a nurse leader as one who inspires and influences others to achieve their maximum potential using leadership skills and criticalthinking. Every nurse has the potential to lead, whether on the front line, in their unit, or as a resource for others. But the goal is clear.

With the significant need for RNs nationally and globally, understanding the qualities of a good nurse is critical for hospitals and health systems aiming to attract and retain the best nursing talent. Add to this caring for multiple patients simultaneously, and the possibility of making an error can seem almost inevitable.
And so I think incorporating that into our learning structure, our learning environment is most helpful for our students. 5:26] So I think what we really want to see is individuals who truly have the motivation and desire to be a good physician, and that comes in a lot of different packages.
