From the beginning they learn how to take a history, do a physicalexam. Maybe they’re planning to apply this upcoming cycle 2025, maybe they’re looking ahead to 2026. Once they take the step, once they start their clinical rotations. That’s pretty good. We have a lot of actor patients that we use for that.
So, biochemistry, anatomy, organ systems, how to interview a patient, how to do a physicalexam, all those types of things. Are you planning any changes to your requirements for the class that will be applying in 2025 and entering in 2026? And then we send them out into the core clinical year, the second year.
A simple Google search is a good way to start: "emergency medicine conferences 2025" Make a list or add them to a table. Classically, it'll be: history of present illness, physicalexam, workup (pertinent labs, imaging, etc.) What kind of sections does it ask for? and a discussion, but there's some variability.
