The start of 2021 saw me seeing through my birthday, too poorly to care, and unable to see my own family whom I’d been unable to see or hug for many months. I was supposed to qualify as a Doctor in the summer of 2021. My dreams and hard work were supposed to pay off, in the summer of 2021. I’m going back to Medical School.

For those eight weeks, I witnessed more patients slip away right beside me than I’ve ever seen in all my admissions collectively – lying next to a stale blue curtain that was closed around a still body was an uncomfortable thought and presence. The year-long hospital admission following numerous abdominal surgeries was hard.

The CMS (Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services) has posted the latest standards for e-prescribing which are as follows: In 2020, the CMS published the 2021 PFS (Physician Fee Schedule) final rule which requires prescribers to use the NCPDP SCRIPT standard version 2017071 for EPCS (Electronic Prescribing of Controlled Drugs) transactions.
