The Nurse Salary Report indicated that 90% of hospital leaders hired travel nurses in 2020. But there is a dark side to being a hero.

As a latchkey kid who grew up in the NYC public schools, I knew I had to make it out of areas where most lack the resources to succeed. In 2020, I was inducted as a fellow in the NY Academy of Medicine.
